When the issue of campaign promises comes up, coal miners are expecting a miracle, one which may not happen.
Time has moved on and coal may soon be forgotten fuel; the jobs mining it may soon be too. Think of the old adding machines, a great tool in its day but useless now. As sad as it is, these folks may have to move on. I believe some folks who supported Trump half expect him to roll back the clock on many issues, not just coal.
