I live in Texas and this is a bit upsetting. Why do we need another federal government facility, that is not a jail to hold illegals?
If I sneak into your house will they lock me up in a hotel? No! One thing sure to incentivize more illegals is the nice comfy accommodations once they arrive. Who, in their right mind would do such a thing if they were trying to defend our borders? No one!
If you were wishing to lure new illegal voters into the country, what would you do? Give them free stuff and housing even the middle class in their home country cannot afford. Surely, anyone against such a thing must be a bigot, right? No, we just wish to keep illegal foreigners out of our country. We have legal means of immigration, use them, get in line.
“Our facility offers a community-based alternative that will allow children to live in a home setting, attend school, and access critical legal and social services,” Stratton Oilfield Systems said in a pitch to potential partners.
Then recently, this article. Is this just rehashed old news? Is this even real news? Or are these just the new government housing projects (ghettos)? They may be new when built, but it won’t take long to look like Chicago or somewhere.
The total number of apprehensions in August, September and October was higher than in the last five years, and we simply have no way to stop it under the Obama administration’s lax border security.
If you live in one of these areas, and this is really happening, tell someone. News on this issue seems a bit lacking, if it is a news worthy issue.
